In all areas Dookudu movie beaks previous records for 1st week. But as compare to first 4 days movie collections are dropping due to more theaters. 

MAA TV bagged movie satellite rights by paying Rs 7 Cr.

Dookudu 3 days collections: 21 Cr 22 lakhs. In USA 1.5 Million Dollars in 2 days. Vizag collections are Rs 1 Crore 30 Lakhs in its first 4 days.

Dookudu first day Collections: Rs.9 Cr in its first day according to trade report. Dookudu movie collected Rs.2 Cr in Nizam area, which is a new record for a Telugu movie. Rs.81 lakhs collected in Gunutr and Rs.43 lakhs in East Godavari Dist. Rs.44 lakhs in West Godavari Dist.

Malayalam dubbing version will release soon in Kerala. Tamil and Bollywood top stars are ready to do Dookudu remake by paying highest remake rights.

Mahesh Babu Dookudu Review: Much awaited Telugu movie Dookudu released with high expectations and finally got good talk. Dookudu is a family entertainer with good action sequences.

Director Srinu Vytla succeeded to show Mahesh Babu in fullength family entertainer. Mahesh Babu did good job, mainly in Telangana accent and Brahmanandam MS Narayana comedy worked very well. Samantha role is limited. Prakash raj is good in his role. All the remaining characters are OK. Parvathi Melton Item song is good.

Thaman composed music is not up to the mark. Production values are good. Cinematography is very good. Story given by Gopi Mohan and Dialogues written by Kona Venkat.

Finally Mahesh Scored success with a family entertainer for this Dasara season 2011.

Dookudu movie release date

Prince Mahesh Babu has promised to his fans during 'Khaleja' Audio Release that he will do atleast two films in a calender Year. But his next film 'Dookudu' has started 8 months ago and is still on sets.

As per the buzz , due to lack of understanding between Srinu Vytla and Mahesh the film is delayed. Now, the latest news is that Super Star Mahesh Babu decided to release 'Dookudu' for his Birthday as Gift to fans at any cost. 

Dookudu would be a family, comedy and action entertainer. Srinu Vytla told that the movie has loads of entertainment and fun-filled scenes. The satellite rights of Dookudu have been acquired by Maa Tv for a whopping price of  Rs5.5 crores.

Sreenu Vytla is directing the film and Anil Sunkara, Gopichand are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainment. samantha is paring opposite mahesh as a female lead. Thaman is scoring the tunes for this flick.
